Existentialism and After (PHIL 26)

Summer Session 1 (June 26 - July 28)

This course explores ideas and questions taken as central in the tradition of existential philosophy, broadly construed. These include questions about the meaningfulness of life (and obstacles to its realization), the nature of human freedom and identity-formation, and the nature of the ethical life given responses to the above.

Five credit course that fulfills the General Education requirement for 'Introduction to Disciplines, Humanities, and Arts' (IH).
