| View News Home Paul Roth Named Distinguished Visiting Scholar June 24, 2009 Professor and Philosophy Department Chair Paul Roth was named as a distinguished visiting scholar at the University of Provence in Aix en Provence, France. Professor Roth received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Chicago. His research interests include philosophy of social science, epistemology, history of analytic philosophy, and philosophy of history. Congratulations to Professor Roth on this notable accolade!
