UCSC Philosophy Graduate Activities

The Home Platos is the name of our intramural softball team and so far we have played for two seasons. It is a part of the intramural league here on campus where teams play once a week in the afternoon (starting the 2nd or 3rd week of the Spring Quarter).

It is not a huge time commitment, and it is not necessary that you attend every game. Though we try hard, our main goal is to have a lot of fun, so if you haven't played much softball, that's okay.

Guests are always welcome, even if they aren't directly associated with the university, so if you know anyone else who might like to play, they should certainly join.

We also have t-shirts available seen (see pictures) for $15 each for players and for those just wanting to show team spirit.
